Step 1 - Configuring
To start downloading MP3's you first have to configure Music Downloader. It doesn't need much configuration, but you should take a look at it. It may be usefull to set a proxy server and to set the program you want to use for the download of MP3 files.
Setting a Proxy Server
To set the proxy server settings you have to know if your ISP requires the use of a http proxy server. If you don't know if a proxy server is needed, you will notice it because every search will fail if a proxy server is required. We do not recommend the use of a proxy server, unless you need it to connect to the internet. To set a proxy server click "options" and enter the proxy server settings on the "Connection" tab. Please contact your Internet Service Provider if you don't know the hostname and port of the proxy server.
Set the Download Manager
When Music Downloader finds the MP3 File you want to download it starts a download manager to download the file. When you click "Options" you can set the download manager's on the "Downloading" tab.
